A simple meal can be as simple as a can of baked beans with 2 eggs. And a bowl of ABC soup. Consist of SpareRibs, Carrot, Onions, Potatoes, Sze-Chuan Veg (if you want it taste better). Throw everything in the pot & boil em’. Who says cooking is troublesome?

她不是要饭的。

昨天，我和Max 到他家附近的咖啡店吃晚餐。这里是我们常来的地方。因为便宜又好吃。 而且，咖啡店也不会太多人。 . 当我在等着Max买食物。我看见一位婆婆。她年纪看起来不是很老。可是，我想，她也应该有六十多到七十。身上穿着一件破T-Shirt，男装的篮球裤，还有一双快要破的拖鞋。手上拿着一个塑胶袋。 我注意了她很久。她一直都在咖啡店范围走来走去。好像在等些什么的。 刚好有一位女生没把饭吃完就走了。盘里还有一半的菜和饭。那位婆婆过去把那盘饭拿在手里，走往我的前方，坐下来大口的吃那女生剩下的饭菜。 . 我看见这种情况，怎么叫人不辛酸呢？ Max 把食物放在我面前。我叫他等我一下。 我站起来，向前去问那位婆婆 “婆婆，请你让我买晚餐给你吃好吗？“ “不用。我在吃了“ 婆婆回应。 那时，我想也许婆婆不好意思。也也许怕我买到她不喜欢吃的食物。我决定坚持的问下去。。。 “婆婆，我不知道你喜欢吃什么， 不如我给你钱去买你自己喜欢吃的晚餐好不好？“。当我要把钱放进她的手里，她立刻把我的手推开。我重复的问了婆婆四五次。因为，我的心真的很想给她买一顿晚餐。可是，还是被拒绝了。 我想不通。。。。 . 可是, 我知道我要尊重那位婆婆的立场。 我没说什么，在我走开之前，我只说 “婆婆，如果你还饿的话，我坐在前面，你告诉我，让我请你吃晚餐。“ 婆婆沉默的低着头，没看我一眼。因为，我看见了她的眼睛已经开始红了。我想，知道为什么她会这样。 因为，也许婆婆是要我知道，她不是要饭的。她也许就是这样靠自己为生。也不懂得求别人帮忙。 也也许，根本没有人注意到她的存在。。。 . 心酸啊！请问，为什么咖啡店里怎么多人，干吗都没有人注意到这位婆婆呢？还是他们有看见，有主意， 可是他们选择看不见？还是他们觉得这不关他们的事？ 这个社会真的是没温情吗？ . 看见这位婆婆这样，Max买给我的晚餐，我都吃不下。我只吃了几口。
